Small intimate restaurant. I had the Stromboli special and it was the best I have ever had. My wife had the Lobster Ravioli special. It was in pink sauce which was advertised, but she missed the pink sauce and does not care for pink sauce herself, but said it was still good, but did not have much taste of lobster. My cousin and mom shared the Supreme pizza and my mom said she believed it was the best pizza she ever had. My cousin enjoyed it as well. We had Lindsay as our waitress and she was phenomenal! After several disappointments from various chain pizza companies, I was at a loss to find a decent pizza on the gulf coast. Well, I found it!! Friends mentioned that I should try Pizza Gorda in Punta Gorda so my wife and I gave it a try and were amazed at the authenticity of this restaurant. It is truly Italian cooking by Italian cooks. The pizza flour is naturally of low gluten content and a gluten-free pizza is also on the menu. The salads are fresh and the pizza is thin crust and absolutely delicious. Cannot express how much I love this place! The food, the service, and atmosphere is top notch. The Pizza itself was soo good! Its everything you would want a pizza to be. The cheese, the sauce, and the crust had such an incredible flavor. I personally loved there chicken parm. The atmosphere was very relaxing and cozy especially with a nice glass of wine; They also have a cool gelato place next door when your done with dinner: This is a local favorite and a must try!
