After having seen the commercial from Buman a few times on TV and hearing that the restaurant is right in the village where I work, I decided to head there one day with a colleague for lunch. Upon entrance we were warmly greeted by Franco himself and his casual and friendly greeting made us feel like we're family who hadn't been round for a while, but really happy to have returned.We both ordered the Gnocchi and they were fantastic. Afterwards he told us that they make 40 kilos of Gnocchi a day and that people from all over the country come to visit tehm. Which I can believe as they were on TV in the end.The atmosphere was majorily influenced by Franco himself, hit employees were less charmi...
We have chosen this place from the very comments listed on TripAdvisor! But how disappointing! Mixed salad was very poor and unappealing with a tasteless dressing! The 25.-Chfr gnocchis was served with canned asparagus right in the middle of the local fresh season! Pizza were also very average lacking taste! I wanted to have some of the homemade Tiramisu posted on the bar for dessert but it was not available and they did not remove the signage! Service also was pretty poor! dishes were not delivered all at the same time and some were cleared before everyone was finished! Not worth a visit!
We visited this pizzeria quite spontaniously, but were immediately greeted by the owner with a handshake and a welcoming smile. We were seated very quickly and served just as quickly. We ordered three pizzas and they came quite quickly and tasted really amazing! The pizza was delightfully crispy, but not hard at all, the sauce was delicious and the toppings weren't overpowering, but came through very delicately and the whole thing was just an utter delight. If you're ever in Pfaeffikon, do visit this restaurant.
Well since my last visit to this restsurant tge service has dedirorated. Franco is a nice chsp/comedian but his other 2 waiters/assistants are slack and represent a poor showing. The foid is average and the place was rather cold in temperature, in fairness its winter and -3 outside put it was uncomfortable to sit tgere more then 30 min.Franco excell again to previous standards - txs

Have been living in Switzerland for nearly 6 years and I have had Italian food in various different cities in Switzerland. Nothing else even comes remotely close to this place. Delicious food, with an extremely friendly and gracious host. Pfäffikon is probably not one of the most attractive destinations in Switzerland, but it is worth to visit it just to eat at this restaurant.
Had a dinner there with a group of 9 friends and we ordered several Pizzas and Spaghetti dishes. Each one of the dish was the best we have had until now in Switzerland. Service was prompt and the ambience was warm and welcoming. Had a very positive experience and will definitely visit again. Highly recommended, you can't go wrong with this one :)
been there after having read in the newspaper that the patron is back. Great choice of italian food (not only Pizza from woodoven,) well prepared and nicely presented. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
I've been there a couple of times. A traditional pizzeria. Excellent, freshly prepared food. Great choice of italian and some swiss food. Interior and terrace would need a little upgrade or more coziness.

Everything fits here: from the warm welcome by Franco via great starters and a very tasty pizza or pasta dish (or maybe a bistecca) and the not-to-be missed homemade Gnoccis ! Chef
Great Italian basics and the best owner in the business. My whole family loves coming here to see if we can possibly get in or out without Franco's famous handshake - lol
