Not pizza... Fast food pizza! Thin pan pizza prepared by people who touch everything in and around the shop and never wash or sanitize hands in between. No AC inside. It can get hotter than the pizza, sitting indoors. Problem with that is that everything...that sits in the open, including red wine, also reaches room temperature. Pizza tastes like generic frozen pizza. Strange dough consistency. Almost hardened pudding-like. No flavor, cheap ingredients, bland and mass produced. Not sure if only family or friends reviewed this place with high regards, but its the only explanation I could find to highly over rated, below mediocre, booooring fast food!
We eat here at least once a week. My family loves the regular menu and I am thrilled with the gluten free options. They offer gluten free pizza one size only- large pasta, and the tiramisu is gluten free as well. I've also...had the gf lasagna which was very tasty. My normal meal is a gf Pepe special. The cappuccinos are very good. It is a small place and gets very busy at times. We try to eat after the lunch crowd or right at We are usually pretty lucky in getting a table, inside or out. I've recently had to stop eating cheese and was hesitant to try my favorite pizza without it. However, it is delicious! They are very accommodating.
This is a lovely little diner-like place in Mainz. There are numerous kinds of pizzas available (including gluten free ones and all of them are freshly made to order. We had two medium pizzas for Euros. They were both fresh and tasty. The atmosphere...in the restaurant is unique, but the place is rather small and cannot serve too many customers at once.
This small restaurant is ideal for the days ending. The extensive menu pleases any taste bud and be personalised to your likings. Giovanni is great company and makes good recommendations. I've visited this place with friends for many years. A perfect finishing would be the...tiramisu.

Nice food, friendly staff, affordable price. Their Spaghetti Aglio e Olio is my favorite, almost always have this pasta there. When the weather is nice, you could also sit outside and enjoy. And they have english menu too. Small but nice place.
