While the food was excellent, the service was absolutely dismal. We were seated relatively quickly but we waited for almost 20 minutes for anyone to come to our table. The server who did finally come over was rude, rushed and clearly not interested in us. She took our drink order as well as our food order. She didn't ask us any questions and we felt pretty uncomfortable with her demeanor. Our salads then came before we got our drinks and we had to remind someone that we had ordered them. We couldn't figure out who our server was and had no idea who to ask for assistance. All in all, the food was great but the service was absolute terrible. Great food and great environment. On our last visit, we saw people in tuxedos and people in jeans and t-shirts. Everyone enjoys Pizzeria Verita.
