It was myself and a few friends that went there for dinner as we were up on business and have had a decent feed at the Adelaide restaurant. On the menu they had some good value meals for $15 so we decided to give them a go, we got a free drink with our meal which was good. However I choose the special for the day as it was a good price.Everyone else received their meals at a good time but somehow mine came out 50 minutes later, and for the wait that it was, the food wasn't that great.I do recommend the place for the good vibes and other good foods, but beware that the specials of the day aren't nothing special and should just stick to something traditional.
We had $10 vouchers given to us for a meal and a drink. You don't need the voucher for a $10 meal though. I ordered a 200g pepper sauce rump steak, others ordered the fish and chips and we had the ceasar salad and two more rumps with different sauces. The only complaint would be the fish... it was a bit dry. One of those "meaty" type fish was used. A better choice to use would have been whiting or similar. Free drinks was great I had a gin and tonic and the boys a beer. We had to pay extra for two orange juices for the kids which we didn't mind given the good quality of the food and decent size servings.Definitely going back here!
Visited on first night in Cairns, desperate for a pub with reasonable prices for a family with young kids.Cheap meal deals at $15 with a free standard alcoholic or non alcoholic drink. Around ten meals at that price including a Parma, steak and fish n chips.Dark and stank inside, great decor but suggest it does need to be more airy with a lot more lighting in the Cairns environment. Especially to get the families in for dinner.Can get a little rough and rowdy out the front footpath area.Food was average pub grub but well priced and we did return.Give it a try
Visited here last night, husband and I both ordered the chicken parmi and it was incredible. Also a very decent size, and great value. $36 for 2 meals plus we got a free drink (beer or soft drink). It was lovely to sit outside, although it did take a few mins to find a seat, it was busy so we didnt mind. The place was low key, they give you a beeper to collect your food when its ready, which seems to work fine. Will be back for a parmi next time we're in town

We had vouchers from where we were staying to this pub, meal and a beer for $9. Without the voucher the deal is a meal and a beer for $15. Either way it's worth it. It's a self serve pub. The food was very good. I had the fish a chips. There was a variety of beer to choose from along with other drinks.The place was always busy. We went back there there again while in Cairns.
We stopped in her for a meal and a beer. The prices we really good and the food was excellent. We had a pint of beer and returned for another the follow night. The atmosphere is good and service is great.
Lovely restaurant and provides a free drink with your meal. Staff were genuine and friendly and the food was good with smaller portions but at a great value.

Food was good and they had cheap deals. Nice place for a beer with friends, a little creepy inside though.
