Here it is, service over 20 minutes to order, food arrived 20 -25 mins from order decor average . The P B was busy that morning, but no excuse for not taking the order sooner. Food was overcooked ,which was the octopus, and it was tough. Next, my ladies' fish seemed to have been freezer burnt still edible, but you can tell the quality if you cook . This was recommended by friends, and in the future, I will do my homework before I make the stop. P B is a local spot ,and I mean regulars ,so if you would like new customers, you Wait on them, just as all clients not just regulars, I believe they call it customer service. And if you would like to have repeat customers ,you take care of them.

When I lived in Montebello 20 years ago, Playa Baja was just a few blocks from my home. And now when I'm in Los Angeles on business, I always drop by for a bite to eat. This place serves up Mexican comfort food. Great for breakfast with a large variety of traditional dishes. The chilaquiles are to die for, and the basics like great beans and fresh coffee get your day started out right. For a light lunch, the shrimp cocktail is highly recommended, as well as fish or chicken tacos. If you're super hungry, all the combo plates are served up in huge portions. The seating isn't fancy but comfortable. Also, there is a good selection of domestic and Mexican beer.

Haven't been here in a few years. Still pretty good overall. They still carry a varied menu. Had the Steak Picado with rice beans. Had plenty of meat on the plate without being heavy on the onions bell peppers. (Just add more pepper found on your table for a better taste. It's said you know how good a Mexican restaurant is by its chips salsa. Chips salsa were near perfect. Chips were thin, warm very crispy. I don't know if the salsa came from a can but it has a light kick better than most other restaurants that serve canned tomatoes.

Great cozy Mexican spot. Its a little outdated but thats what helps gives the flavor to this hidden Gem My taste buds tend to think they are a connoisseur of Caldo De Cameron and you can aquire a decent Marisco bowl of that here. Waitresses are friendly. Seating is booths and they also cater if you need that for an event or party. I've been coming here for about 7 years now. I'm actually leaving this review after another successful patronage to this establishment.

My husband and I come here after church for their avocado tostadas. YUM!!! I’ve had their enchiladas and albondigas which also are excellent. The salsa they serve with their complimentary, fresh chips is just hot enough.

Went here with a group from a local business. Great food at a reasonable price. Salsa was terrific. Service was excellent and there was no issue making changes due to diet or other requests.

Found this place and not much to look at from outside or inside. But the food was delicious. And have a good menu. Just try it once and you will agree.
