Every time I come here I use my rewards, and everytime My smoothie is messed up. One time I got spinach instead of spiralina. It was like drinking a salad. They asked me if I wanted a refund or a redo. I opted for the redo. They made me pay for it. Just went back today, used my rewards $3 off again, my drink had so much spiralina, I couldn?t even drink it. I brought it right back. They only offered a refund, and stated it was the ?right? amount of spiralina. No idea what?s going on here, but I?ve been to a decent amount of playa bowls, and this one is definitely the worst. This is my second experience ordering from this restaurant via DoorDash, and both times I've paid for additional items that were never delivered. I spent an extra dollar on each of these items, but they were missing from my order. Furthermore, the phone number listed is not functional, which is quite disappointing. The restaurant really needs to improve their attention to detail on receipts and make sure that all paid items are included in the order.
I ordered for 3 Nutelloco- coconut bowl and they blended the coconut juice with banana. Meanwhile l don?t like the smile of banana for me to even taste it and always substitute it with different fruit. They didn?t seek for my consent and when l call them no one is answering.l have to trash all of them because it makes me nauseous and l had driven to Pennslyvania.
I placed my order through the app, and it was ready when I arrived. Everything was delicious. The only downside was that the app automatically adds a tip. I prefer to leave a cash tip, but I forgot to uncheck the tip option this time, which was a bit frustrating. Other than that, the service was friendly, and Playa Bowls always puts a smile on my face!

Great location! The bowls and juices are absolutely delicious, and the staff is not only friendly but also knowledgeable. There are plenty of options on the menu, and they are very accommodating; you can customize your order by replacing granola with a vegan option, removing honey, or adding extra fruits. Everything is fresh and flavorful!
The restaurant offers a wide variety of fresh and customizable options including acai bowls, banana bowls, coconut bowls, pitaya bowls, green bowls, chia pudding, oatmeal, and more! The food is always delicious and there is usually a line, but it's worth the wait. I highly recommend Playa Bowls in Denville, or any Playa Bowls location!
They followed order notes and they were NOT stingy with their portion! As you can see! Everything tastes very fresh, and dare I say healthy. It's 2 meals for me because they really pack the bowl well and even though it's a little pricey sometimes, they make it well worth it.
I've consistently had wonderful experiences at every Playa Bowls location, and this one is no exception. My only challenge is choosing what to order since everything looks so appetizing. The only drawback is that there's no off-street parking, but that's my only complaint.
