By the time my friend and I returned, it was nearing 6 PM, and we managed to snag the last available table. My friend ordered the small tom yum soup ($8), while I chose the massaman curry with chicken ($16). My friend found the raw cilantro in her soup overwhelming and not to her liking. As for my curry, it wasn’t as sweet as I expected. I requested a mild level of spiciness after reading other reviews mentioning authentic spice levels, and I found it to be just right. However, the curry tasted more like a red curry than a massaman.

The staff here is friendly and welcoming. It's a fantastic spot to hang out with friends and family! We visit quite often with our friends. Even though I can’t handle much spice, I keep coming back. Just remember to order it less spicy; my only complaint is that sometimes they use too much MSG. I don’t mind MSG in moderation, but when it’s overdone, it can ruin the flavor of the food. For example, the papaya salad that day was so over-seasoned with MSG that I couldn't taste anything else! We asked for it to be remade, and thankfully, it tasted much better afterward. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention—they have happy hour drinks, too!

It definitely runs spicier than a lot of places in the area. I would suggest starting with one spice level down from your normal level. My boyfriend's favorite Thai restaurant in New York. It's truly authentic, and everything tastes fantastic. My favorite dish is the BBQ pork, which has an amazing aroma. The only downside is that the restaurant is a bit cramped and often crowded.
Been here 3 times and will keep coming back. Even though the seating and space is small playground brings authentic Thai food and flavors to your plate, can’t forget the drinks too.My personal gem in the area I always recommend.
Should try if you love Thai food! I love their steam fish but deduct point that not hot. They have nice coconut ice cream and fresh dipping w pandan coconut milk sauce.
