eating was very good, but a little expensive for a family of 4. we ordered the French toast, the classic eier benedict, poached over crab shrimp risotto cakes highly recommend this unique dish, the breakfast plate with speck wrapped pecans. when they go with children, make sure that they don't like to go to a very empty and avoid some activities for them, hanging knocks like mine do: there was a bit of a wait for a table and for eating, but it was nice to see a local business so busy in the city during the long weekend! even if they have mobility problems, be careful as the bathrooms are down. Unfortunately they were already from fresh squeece orange juice we were there on the afternoon. not...
Overall good, but with some flaws. First, I ordered The Stacker , and by its name and description, I expected something more substantial than what I received. The stack was more like a small mound, and there wasn't much food. It also came with 4 slices of bread which I felt was unnecessary, and simply a way to fill you up without giving you much substance. The food itself tasted pretty good, but nothing particularly interesting.Secondly, we had a relatively large group which they were nice enough to accommodate. However, since many of us ordered the same thing, the waitress was very rude when I tried to verify with her if she was giving me my order I asked for an extra runny yoke on my poa...
Two of us came for breakfast based on the rave reviews. First of all, they get a rare 5 stars from me. Right from entry through to departure, the staff were amazing. Well done to the owners for creating such a warm and friendly atmosphere. The food was equal to the task. Absolutely amazing from presentation to taste. Perfect in every way. Even the coffee was excellent. I can not recommend this venue enough and I will certainly be making it my go to place for the future. Spectacular.
They've almost perfected their eggs benny mainstay, but it is expensive and the usual effete noisy, crowded get them through quickly modern yuppy dining experience, much worsened by the pathetically overpriced coffee. They insist on serving too dark roasted therefore bitter which any real coffee lover knows is a vile way to ruin coffee. Worse, they insist on serving it as Americano . Réservez une table maintenant
I went to poached to try the best eier benedikt in saskatoon and was not disappointed. they were absolutely delicious, the service was great and the staff was wonderful and friendly. poached has just become my favorite breakfast place, and I am now looking forward to dinner in her restaurant.
We saw the great reviews on TA so made sure to check it out. We arrived around 10:30 on Saturday and were promptly seated. The place was about 3 4 full. Server was excellent: friendly and attentive. Eggs bene and breakfast plate. Both very satisfied. Yeah, this is one place you have to try!
what a beautiful surprise in the inner city of saskatoon. one of the best eier benedict I ever had! the restaurant atmosphere is very chic. the time when I was there they were very busy so that the staff was somewhat overwhelmed, but that made hardly one in my experience!
