The food was fresh and well-prepared. I ordered Bibimbap, and each side dish had its own distinct and bold flavor. The meat really benefitted from the chili sauce, which added juiciness, while the bean sprouts were fresh and crunchy. The radishes and carrots were cooked just enough to maintain their texture, preventing them from becoming too soft while keeping their original flavors intact. Since I was still on my trip and tend to eat less during the summer, I ended up with some leftovers to take with me. The meal tasted great in Edmonton, though it had a slightly different flavor profile compared to BC. The prices were reasonable for each dish, and the service was attentive and thoughtful....

As for the food itself, the portion sizes are decent. The black bean noodles are flavorful, and the noodles have just the right chewiness. However, there’s something missing in the taste compared to another restaurant in the city, though I can’t quite pinpoint what it is. I was disappointed with their spicy garlic fried chicken (GganPoongGi), which should not be confused with traditional Korean fried chicken. While it was crispy and tender, it was far too sweet for my liking, and I didn’t detect any spiciness at all—not even a hint. Because of this, I deducted one star from my rating. Despite these issues, I would still consider returning, although I might choose a different place if I'm s...

This is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in town, and I've been there several times. Their tangsuyuk is incredibly crispy, and the other dishes are equally fantastic. Once, I ordered fried rice, and while it was a bit on the wetter side, I didn't mind it. However, the server quickly brought out a replacement and informed me that the kitchen wasn't satisfied with the original bowl since it didn't meet their standards. I really appreciate that level of service. The restaurant tends to be quite busy, especially during dinner hours, and I don't think they take reservations, so it's first come, first served. I highly recommend it!

The Korean restaurants in this area are all excellent choices, but if you're looking for an authentic Korean dining experience, Pocha is the place to be. Everything we ordered was delicious. Just a heads up—the tteokbokki is pretty spicy, so keep that in mind. The portion sizes are generous enough for two people. We were in a bit of a hurry during our visit around 7:45 PM, and despite the restaurant being busy, the servers were friendly and quick. We didn’t have to wait long for our food either. Pocha has become one of our go-to restaurants, and we absolutely recommend it. Be prepared for a line during peak hours! Réservez une table maintenant

March 25, 2023: The atmosphere was fantastic, and the seating areas were very inviting. The staff was exceptionally friendly, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the jjajangmyeon and the fried chicken (though I must mention the spicy soup that isn't shown in the photos). However, the pork belly was a bit dry and left me feeling a bit disappointed, especially considering the price. Everything else was reasonably priced and had generous portion sizes.

If you're craving Korean cuisine, this place is a must-visit. They have an impressive menu with a wide variety of options. Don't miss the seafood pancake—it's absolutely delicious! Their traditional soups are also exceptional. The barbecue is always tasty and cooked to perfection. The restaurant is kept clean, and the staff is very friendly, delivering excellent customer service. #chicosreviews

I took my time savoring my meal, and the staff checked in on me a few times without being intrusive. The service was exceptionally friendly and prompt. I definitely plan to try more dishes on my next visit. I recommend going with a small group of about four people so you can share a variety of different dishes!

My friends and I ordered Combo A, which featured the spicy garlic fried chicken, and we substituted the black bean noodles for the spicy seafood noodle soup. Both dishes were amazing! My favorite was the Cheese Dakgalbi—it was absolutely delicious, and I really enjoyed the sides that came with it. Réservez une table maintenant

This was my first experience with authentic Korean food, and it was fantastic! The server recommended the seafood soup and garlic chicken, both of which were delicious. I will definitely return and recommend this place to others!
