Custom Poke Bowl Restaurant in Walnut is open during COVID (closed on Mondays) and you can place your order online through their website. After reaching a minimum order, they offer a selection of free egg rolls or edamame (we opted for the egg rolls). I've been here a few times, all pre-covid. I was in the area and my family wanted me to grab some poke for dinner. Poki Island is their usual go to spot and it really is pretty good, but this experience just wasn't the greatest one. I came in and saw a sign that masks were still enforced, so I put mine on. No problem. I order my food, and while I'm waiting for it to be finished, someone walks in with no mask, goes up to the register and none of the employees mentioned anything to her. I love the variety of food they offer here. They have poke bowls, sushi rolls, bento boxes, ramen, Chinese food, and more! However, I didn't think the food I ordered was enjoyable. I ordered a poke bowl with salmon and a 2-item beef teriyaki tempura bento box. The raw fish was rancid. It tasted extremely old and had such a bad taste. The poke bowl would've been pretty good if the fish was fresh.. the bento was much better though. The beef teriyaki was decent and tempura was good. The raw fish in my bento from the salmon roll also tasted so weird though. Sadly, I don't think I'll be returning. I rarely give 5 Stars but Poki Island s well deserving. I should note that my rating is only based on food received using Uber Eats and not physically being there. But I've no doubt that you f they take that much care in delivery that their physical establishment must be as deserving. This is the best sushi around my area. It is extremely fresh, very well packed and always on time. The portions are hearty! The Mexican roll rocks! Highly recommended!

Unfortunately, this was my last poke bowl from Poki Island, as they are closing down. I'm grateful to have had a heads-up about the closure so I could enjoy this meal one last time. I really enjoy supporting family-owned businesses, but it seems that many have been shutting down in the past two years. I hope that they can reopen in the near future. Thank you, Poki Island, my stomach is grateful for all the delicious meals!
The miso soup here is my absolute favorite, and every type of tea is excellent! The service is consistently outstanding, and the young man managing most of the orders is incredibly kind and attentive. My family plans to keep coming here as long as they're in business. You can really tell that they care about their restaurant and the surrounding community.
Is this a joke??? I ordered an Eel avocado roll for upwards of $7 on UberEats, and this isnt even cut. The roll is literally smaller than my ADVIL bottle. The nori is on the outside when the pictures showed the rice should be on the outside. Literally ridiculous and a scam. Poke good tho but wtf is this?? fire whoever did this s asap wtf? Scam
This restaurant is in disarray. They were understaffed, and the place was cluttered, likely because the owner is looking to sell. The owner was quite impolite and even rude. It was clear he didn’t know how to effectively manage the restaurant. I wouldn’t recommend dining here!

Friendly and helpful staff. Food is fresh and the facility is clean. Menu selection is good and they’re quick with orders. The fish here is good quality.
During my last visit I think they were under staffed. It was better before covid.
