This plaice, sorry for the pun is CASH ONLY, so beware no cards of any sort are taken. Bit old fashioned these days. They cook gluten free food on Tuesday and Wednesdays, with everything cooked to order so there is a short wait. But portions are good and nicely cooked. Parking is not very easy.

My partner and I recently tried this fish and chippy. We struggled to find any that had gluten free options. I was happy to find these guys do and the batter honestly doesn't taste any different! I really appreciate the extra effort. Would reccomend to anyone. Lovely food. Lovely staff.

Wonderful food, always is, and lovely friendly people who are always so welcoming. Just the best fish and chips around and always worth the journey for us, as we don't live locally so it's a bit of a treat. Been eating there for several years and still love going there every time.

A great traditional fish and chip shop. Been there for years. With the owner and regular staff, which are always friendly and happy. Plenty of traditional choices that you'd get in a chippy. Made often fresh on order. Reasonable prices. Usually plenty of free parking outside.

Family run business, absolutely brilliant. Staff are polite and professional Food is a complete nostalgia, my first bite took me right back to when I was little. They actually serve great chips! (Not soggy) Sometimes that's what works, simple family run fish and chips.
