Pollos A La Brasa El Chalan

Absolutely fantastic! This humble restaurant serves outstanding food. While their rotisserie chicken rightfully steals the spotlight, the other Peruvian dishes are equally impressive. The beef heart anticuchos are flavorful and juicy, accompanied by excellent potatoes and corn. The ceviche pescado is incredibly fresh. My favorite Peruvian dish, ají de gallina, is prepared beautifully here, featuring shredded rotisserie chicken in a rich, mild ají amarillo sauce. I love to stop by here before heading to the airport, but make sure to allow some extra time as the service can be a bit slow.

Pollo a la brasa is good, but the quality of the other dishes is bad. I ordered in 2 different occasions tallarin saltado, and it was just lots of veggies, not enough pasta, meat was taught, super salty due to the soy sauce, and both occasions were the same thing. On a different occasion I ordered aji de gallina, and how lazy they could be that they shredded the chicken from the rotisserie chicken, which change the flavor completely, oh! and also for the arroz chaufa they use the rotisserie chicken for it, I don't know who's the cook there now, but the plates suffer from authenticity.

Hole in the wall gem in East Boston. Unassuming exterior, but the food is amazing. Ordered a whole chicken, which came with one side and a salad. We got the fried yucca, which was delicious. The aji sauce that comes with the chicken is so delicious. Also ordered the lomo saltado, which was also super tasty. Will be bringing my family to eat here!

The food here is incredible! I really enjoy coming to this restaurant, although it can occasionally be a challenge to get a table because the dining area is quite small. I had high expectations about the pollo a la brasa chicken... I didn't like it as much as I would have liked... The chicken tastes average... side is very small and they take so long time to serve you and they do it with attitude...I won't come back!

The food here is spectacular! Love coming here but sometimes it can be a little difficult to get a table because the dinning area is small. I highly recommend trying it out if you want to broaden your horizon and palette.

The service and food quality have deteriorated significantly. The chicken was overcooked and dry. We experienced a lack of service for most of our visit. Food rating: 2/5.

Man ... listen .. the chicken is so full o flavor. I literally drive from Weymouth 1x a week for this chicken and fries. Réservez une table maintenant
