Ponzio's is not living up to its reputation when it comes to serving. The portion size of the fish and chips was disappointingly small, with only a few fries on the plate. The manager's excuse was that they measured the portions, but that just seems like a poor excuse. This used to be a favorite spot for families, but I won't be returning after this experience. It's a shame to see such a historic establishment fall short of what it once was.
The restaurant offers excellent food with generous portions and extremely friendly and efficient service. We called ahead to reserve a spot on the waitlist, which worked out perfectly. The bread basket that came with our meal had a nice variety of breads. The desserts looked amazing with huge portions, but unfortunately, we were too full to try them. We would definitely return to this restaurant without hesitation.
I met up with a friend for lunch and decided to sit at the bar since there was a 15 to 20 minute wait for a table in the main restaurant. We had a fantastic time. The bartender was very attentive and they had a great selection of lunch specials. The drinks were delicious and refreshing. I ordered the Cubano sandwich and my friend had a chicken Caesar wrap, both of which were excellent!
service was excellent. eating was pretty good. the banana’s care French toast was good, but a little fat for my pleasure. the banana pancakes were good, but not great. the care of the banana were the best of the banan promotional choices and I recommend them. my dad got the filet mignon and he really loved her! they weren't bad, I think it was fair. So Ponzios is not what it use to be, when it comes to portions. There were maybe 5 more fries in this plate of Fish and Chips. The Manager said well we weigh the fries. So now your rationing food. This was a child?s portion forreal! Won?t be back and it?ssad, this place has so much history, but now is a shell of what it use to be! ????
Went there for breakfast on a busy Sunday. Table for 2. We waited less than 3 minutes and we were given a booth. The food was served hot! Get the bananas fosters pancakes, better than the blueberry ones. Their coffee is great and so is their hot chocolate!
Great selection. Reasonable prices. However, the food was not hot enough. The french onion soup was just warm. The fried oysters looked great and were properly cooked but should have been served at a higher temperature.
A fabulous diner !! We had breakfast there this weekend with relatives and it was wonderful! Nice size portions, great service!! The bakery items were so beautiful we had to take some back to NC with us!! Réservez une table maintenant
We stopped here for breakfast I had a pork roll egg and cheese wrap . Quick service Bridget was wonderful. We took cookies and dessert with us . The smores cupcake was so good I wish I had another one .
