I was visiting with a client located in Patchogue and was looking for a place to have a late lunch and found this restaurant on Open Table. This restaurant it a chain on long island, with restaurants in Deer Park, Commack and Wantagh. I have always been please with my meals in the Deer Park and Wantagh locations and the Sayville location didn't disappoint. My waitress Alicia was very nice and helpful throughout my meal. I had the fried flounder with coleslaw, a salad and a side of rice. It came out timely, hot and was very good. I will definitely look to return if ever I'm in the area.

The food was excellent, as always. I ordered the white cloud and specifically requested it to be made with only shrimp, without scallops or crab legs. However, it arrived loaded with all the ingredients I didn't want. The staff even tried to claim that I had ordered it incorrectly. I hold the awful waitress responsible for that mix-up. Once they finally got it right, though, it was delicious!

I have been to Popei's in Deer Park twice. I was so happy to discover another Popei's so close by In Sayville. I didn't even realize it was there as it is hidden away. The food is very good for the price and the menu and specials are quite extensive. I would certainly recommend Popei's to anyone who enjoys seafood.

I've been visiting Popei's for years, and this is the first time I've used OpenTable to make a reservation. That says it all: I keep coming back because I've never had a bad experience!
