I visited this Popeyes location on Tuesday, May 7th at 4:03 pm. I have been to this restaurant before and generally received good service. However, on this particular visit, when I ordered my wings, my ticket number was 4507. When I finally received my food, I noticed that the wings had been refried, there was excess shortening on them, and the bones appeared dark. Having worked at Church's Chicken for 10 years, I am familiar with how old food looks. It was disappointing to receive old chicken instead of fresh food. I recently gave Popeyes another chance after two years. It started when the cashier asked if I had ordered the chicken sandwich, but I hadn't and went ahead to give him my actual order. I felt like I was wasting his time. To make matters worse, I received the wrong order, and when I got my credit card back, it was cracked. The cashier told me I was charged $10, but when I checked my statement later, it turned out to be $14. They handed me a straw but wouldn’t let me leave until I took it. I ended up stuffing it in my sleeves. I told myself to check my tank and finish it later, but honestly, not here.
They were warned. I've been coming here every two years, hoping it would measure up to other locations. I was mistaken. The chicken here is always dry, old, and never fresh. The place is always busy, so you end up waiting a long time for what turns out to be the worst fried chicken I've ever had. There are so many better options out there. Popeyes is definitely not this place.
Apparently they don't have the chicken sandwiches anymore, had my uber order cancelled or just delivered with random items multiple times in a row because they couldn't fulfill on account of the sandwiches. Those sandwiches were great, RIP spicy chicken sandwiches and I guess honest advertising as well.

I ordered a two-piece meal with mashed potatoes and a drink, but the workers, who only make $7 an hour, gave me a stale chicken sandwich and forgot the drink. If I had the time, I'd go back and deal with the cash register myself, but I can only do that on my lunch break.
The sandwiches recently have been tough and chewy. Did they really just fry this? I couldn't even eat it and that was all I had for lunch.
