The chicken here is consistently excellent. We decided to try the new chicken nuggets, and they were fantastic—crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. The only reason I'm not giving a full five stars is that I was informed I would have to wait five minutes for the nuggets, but ended up waiting 20 minutes instead. I would prefer if they were upfront about the actual wait time. The cookies were delicious as well, although they were a bit on the dry side.
I really like this Popeyes location. The customer service is great, and they genuinely care about their customers. The Sunrise Highway can be quite a hassle, but this place is a breath of fresh air. They have a convenient drive-thru, and they don’t try to charge you extra for sides that come with your meal.
