for over 30 years the poseidon in cuxhaven is at the poststr. at the time I was 6, as a native cuxhaven we were more often with the family there. I return every year to the home visit in the poseidone and it never lost anything in quality (or quantity). good, plentiful Greek eating at a fair price, friendly service, matching rustic ambiente, a ouzo before and after. I love new, but nice that some people don't have to change and don't have to change. so, on the next 30 years.Fridays and the weekend reservation recommended. overbaked gyros in cream sauce is my personal favorite. and there's fucking good souflaki.
for many years we spend our holiday in the beautiful cuxhaven duhnen and for a day we always go shopping for cuxhaven. by infestation we swallowed up a few years ago in this restaurant and we were totally thrilled.Now it became a ritual and each of the family is looking forward to visiting. we always eat dishes from the lunch table offer.I had today the mykonos teller with suflaki, gyros, , pommes frites and salat for only 7,90 €. Even a ouzo is still included in this price. the suflaki and the gyros were really excellent. the zaziki tasted very tasty and the portion size was really generous.
Friday, 18.00 clock, not reserved and only with luck get a table for 2 people. the restaurant was already rugged, in itself a good sign. the order was quickly received, there was already a ouzo for the drinks ordered. the gyros ordered crispy and not dry. the leber buttersoft, the meatspoke, as well as the frikadelle (susuki)? also, thought only that it was not through. but all right. to the conclusion then another ouzo and then a bill that is more of the most favorable.
we were the first time back there after 2008. service as always super. I can remember that there was a portion of rice and pommes on the teller at the time and unfortunately no tsatsiki as a supplement. otherwise it still tasted as good as 2008!! with a visit in poseidon you can't make anything wrong

we were third in the poseidon - all three eating were super-lecker! wait until order ca. 5 minutes; wait until the arrival of the food about 20 minutes. our special wishes have been met all in advance. the service was very nice!
