It's a little longer story! My parents booked the Post Hotel last year 2021 in August. Unfortunately, the night from the 14th to the 15.7 caused us this terrible flood disaster in Ahrtal. Since my partner and I lost our entire Hab and Good at this catastophe and we were homeless from today on tomorrow, my parents cancelled the holiday in Mittenwald. The Post Hotel took the cancellation of the room without further costs. Sometime later we had mail from Mittenwald. A free invitation to the Post Hotel for a week half board! We were so happy and happy about this invitation! Now, in August 2022, over 1 year after the disaster we were here! Infinitely gratitude for the invitation, sometimes 1 week...
We were only here one night as part of a hike, but felt very comfortable. Some kind of original hotel, not totally modern, but harmonious. Here and there, the furniture could certainly use a little bit of dice because they have been pushed away, but this is hardly tragic. Cleanliness was great. The room was pleasantly large, only manko the window was not completely open and it was very warm in the room at night.The gastronomy in the house surprised us very positively, absolutely great waiters and the map had a whole page with vegetarian and vegan dishes on that we haven't seen in the south yet, great! Everything was very fresh and tasty and, unfortunately, so rich that no dessert could fit....
in this historic hotel, on the occasion of a hiking week for 1 night, our quarters and also used the gastronomic offer for dinner.Besides the optimal location on the picturesque pedestrian zone (upper market) in the centre of Mittewald, only 5 minutes away from the railway station, the hotel also convinced by tastefully restored and comfortable rooms, through a generous and diverse Bavarian menu. the staff was very friendly and helpful.We like to come back.
Super schönes Hotel in sehr schönen ruhigen Stadt. Service war super und unser Hotelzimmer (eigentlich schon eher eine ganze Wohnung bei der Größe) war mega schön. Pool hat Ausicht auf die Berge und Frühstück war auch ne gute Menge. Würde es nochmal besuchen. Auch habe ich mein Ladekabel vor Ort vergessen und es wurde nach Anfrage per Post zugeschickt. Empfehle es weiter Rooms: 5
Noteworthy details: Es gibt eine Schnellladesäule direkt am Hotel, man kann sein E-Auto laden und sich selbst entspannen, z.B. im hauseigenen Wellnessbereich Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech
