In freudiger Erwartung suchten wir diese bekannte Adresse auf. Hier schien heute etwas der Wurm drin zu sein: Bedienung zwar freundlich, aber sehr zögerlich, Salat fast ohne Sauce und vor allem ohne jeglichen Witz , einfach teures Grünfutter. Interessant hingegen das Curry Süppchen, super. Hauptgänge: Fisch auf Kartoffelstampf, sorry, aber das kann jeder Hausmann, und es kostet dann nicht Fr. 40. für die kleine Portion, und die andere Wahl, das grosse Schweinskotelett, war zwar soweit ok, aber ohne jeglichen Gault Millau Anspruch, nochmals sorry. Als Wein wählten wir aus Gwunder (weil wir ihn selber im Keller haben) einen viel zu jungen Tropfen, der müsste schon noch ein paar Jährchen warten...
Der Abend im Restaurant Engiadina in Zuoz fing verheissungsvoll an, denn der Service war freundlich. Der Gruss aus der Küche schmeckte gut, auch der Salat war schön angerichtet und lecker. Der Hauptgang war eine einzige Enttäuschung. Das Fleisch war zum einen von sehr schlechter Qualität und zum anderen weit entfernt von der bestellten Garstufe. Es war trocken, zäh und geschmacklos. Von der nicht professionellen Reaktion des Service mal abgesehen, war auch die nachgebesserte Speise alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Die Nudeln waren kalt, das Gemüse steinhart und die Fritten pampig. Die Misere gipfelte darin, dass auch die Rechnung nicht gestimmt hat. Der Preis war hoch für die gelieferte Q...

Wir hatten nach vielen leckeren Vorspeisen Wolfsbarsch in Salzkruste ein einfach sagenhaft guter Fisch und das Servieren war ein Erlebnis. Danach kamen noch weitere leckere Nachspeisen, so dass wir bei einem gut temperierten Weisswein ein insgesamt wunderbaren Abend verleben konnten.Die Zimmer sind frisch renoviert und in sehr gutem Zustand. Mit wunderbarer Aussicht in der 4. Etage haben wir die letzten Tage bei bestem Wetter genossen und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hotel und insbesondere das Restaurant sind sehr empfehlenswert! we had after many delicious appetizers wolfbarsch in salt crust - an easy to say good fish and serving was an experience. after that we had another delicious dessert, so that we were able to experience a wonderful evening at a well-tempered white wine.The rooms are freshly renovated and in very good condition. with a wonderful view in the 4th floor we enjoyed the last days at best weather and felt very comfortable. hotel and especially the restaurant are highly recommended!
excellent hotel, located in the center of zuoz a village near st. moritz, country equipped with several ski resorts. friendly staff a great welcome, very clean and spacious rooms in Engadin style. Extraordinary breakfast buffet with every kind of sweet and savoury dish. fantastic reading room very well-kept, elegant and refined, where a free n service of tea and cake is available. available for customers the ski storage and indoor garage. exceptional hotel!
Das Restaurant befindet sich im Hotel selbst gelegen und besteht aus zwei sehr gemütliche und traditionelle Zimmer. Das Essen, in unserem Fall Spiel, war ausgezeichnet und vor allem wir genossen die freundlichen Service und den kleinen Extras in Form eines Amuse Bouche und einige Süßigkeiten mit Kaffee. Ein traditionelles Schweizer Erfahrung.
with the children we spent an extended weekend in the hotel engiadina. we had a nice room and the special charm of the hotel we enjoyed very much. the breakfast buffet corresponded exactly to our requirements and additionally wish were met in kind. our children felt comfortable and so it was also a relaxed stay for us. Es ist offensichtlich, dass der neue Besitzer des Hotel will das Restaurant im Hotel Engiadina eine erstklassige Adresse im Engadin. Das Essen und die Auswahl an Wein ist ausgezeichnet und der Service war perfekt.Und nach dem Abendessen gibt es die Chamanna Bar für die Zigarre Enthusiast.
