This is a fantastic spot for a family dinner, especially for an early meal. The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, and children have the freedom to choose exactly what they want. The canteen-style serving means there's no waiting around, which is great for keeping the little ones engaged, plus there are jelly options available for dessert. Everything is affordable, and the café itself is clean and inviting. It would be perfect for families if there were some coloring activities for the kids. One small note: the food is served from a heated metal canteen display, which can’t be removed. Overall, the meals are delicious and homemade!
We visited today and absolutely loved it! The Illy coffee was fantastic, and the staff was incredible! A special shout-out to Harrison (Harry), who was especially attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. As someone who works from home, I've decided to come here once a week to enjoy the great coffee and wonderful atmosphere! Great job, everyone—keep it up!
I love potatoes and cake! Yes, it feels like a cafeteria, but a stylish one with great food. What makes it extra special is the fantastic, friendly staff. I will definitely miss this place when I return to the Metford Centre.
