We stayed at one of the oldest Premier Inns, and while the rooms were still clean and equipped with all the expected amenities, there were a few issues. The reception staff greeted us warmly, and the location was convenient for our trip. However, the cleaning didn't quite meet the standard we're used to at most Premier Inns; we found an old biscuit under the bed, and the room was quite hot. Unfortunately, there was no air conditioning, just a fan that didn't do much to help.
The room was uncomfortably hot without any air conditioning. As you can see in the photo, the temperature didn't drop below 27 degrees all night, even though it was much cooler outside. The window restraints only allowed for a small opening, making it difficult to let in fresh air. My wife and our other children stayed in a room downstairs, which was only 2 degrees cooler. I won't be staying here again.
The extractor fan in the bathroom was not working, under the rim of the toilet was filthy, the toilet lid was broken, the hdm1 connection for the TV was not working, the light over the bath/shower was not working the curtains were sticking and the lace curtain kept falling down. Other than that the room was adequate and comfy.
The Premier Inn appears quite worn and in need of some upkeep. It's located a bit off the beaten path, making it inconvenient to walk to nearby restaurants and amenities. The stairs had some unusual odors, and the hallways were rather unclean. The rooms are basic and quite straightforward, lacking any frills. Réservez une table maintenant
The rooms could use some improvements. The bathroom fan emitted a loud squeaking noise, the bedside lamp was broken, and the TV had poor reception on most channels. However, aside from those issues, the room met the expectations for a Premier Inn, and the staff was very friendly.
