I”ve always passed by this place many times and finally had a chance to come check it out. I walked in a waited because I”m patient but I started to feel ignored especially when I waved and said hello?The place was full off workers but it wasn”t busy. I would expect a “Hello how may I help you or what can I get for you?” Someone that worked there did look at me but didn”t bother to say I will be right with you so I just walked out after standing there for a long time I got anxious/ embarrarassed. Sad to say this isn”t what I was expecting from this place and I won”t be back.

absolutely the best coffee shop in iowa city. i go every weekend when im in town for work and always go out of the way to get their incredible coffee and the best hazelnut chocolate croissants i have ever had in my entire life, as well as the best scones i can ever remember having, both crispy and soft. the brown sugar scone in particular is absolutely divine. the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cozy, and the space genuinely got me through grad school.

Great spot. The building is amazing on the outside. We walked in to get some lattes and we're in awe of how cool inside was too! Staff were friendly and the lattes didn't take long at all. They tasted great too! Strawberry blonde peanut butter and jelly were delicious! They have a drive through too, which seems rare for such an establishment. Thank you!

First visit, friendly efficient staff, delicious AyJa’s syrup/expresso, nice outdoor accommodation with my dog, Charlie, excellent croissant, very pleasant indoor decor and abundant seating, Check it out!! Réservez une table maintenant

Great smooth coffee. Perfect temperature and flavor. Super cute inside with great sitting options. Wonderfully decorated very clean. Everyone extremely nice. Dogs are welcome which is a huge plus.

Excellent coffee shop. Friendly staff. Lots of space to work with others. Games downstairs. The neighborhood is lovely and dead quiet (there’s a cemetery and park around the corner).

Friendly service, super queer-friendly with an eclectic selection of LGBTQIA+ books and tchatchkies. Beautiful outdoor seating, and dog-friendly!! Will definitely be back.

Drive thru was busy but moved along good. 2 drinks made fresh when I ordered at window. More like a real coffee drink. Service was very good
