What happened to this restaurant? It used to be so good but now it's really dropped in quality. My first indication that something was different should have been when the server was acting rude and almost poking fun at us for asking about an item that was no longer on the menu. But it was no joke, he was just being rude to us. Any normal server might have suggested something similar to what we wanted, but he just told us that a lot of people really liked that dish and they've taken it off the menu. Showed up for the dinner reservation and we were seated promptly. Ordered drinks and later put in for our meal. Had burrata ravioli along with Nona’s meatballs. Both were excellent. I ordered the filet medium rare. What arrived at our table was not a filet, it was more of a roundish New York strip. It was over-cooked to the point of being gray, but at 1/2” tall there wasn’t anyway *not* to overlook it. Also, there was a fair amount of fat which surprised me for such a lean cut. I had been there several times, maybe it was an off night. But I likely won’t be returning unless it’s restaurant week or something.
