Lunch at the Providence Oyster Bar was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. We received a warm welcome and were seated right away, even though we arrived a bit early for our reservation. Our waitress was friendly and attentive without making us feel rushed at all. I was particularly pleased when my Caesar salad arrived perfectly chilled. The baked fish was served piping hot, accompanied by potatoes and delicious green beans. For dessert, we all opted for the pistachio cake, which was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. There were 8 of us ladies for lunch Friday of Restaurant Week. Our requested table was ready for us! Michael, our very pleasant waiter took care of us with smiles and efficiency! He is a GEM!! The menu for the event was superb, which included app, entree, dessert. We all thoroughly enjoyed our varied selections! I had the swordfish which was cooked to perfection! It was very busy, so things were a bit slow, but Michael brought warm rolls, oil dip and butter to fill in our wait time. We enjoyed our lunch so much, we are going back this Friday!! They really make you feel like a valuable guest. 5 Stars!!

Our evening was unfortunately marred by the service we received. The waitress was not up to par; she appeared inexperienced and lacked the engaging personality that enhances a dining experience. As someone who dines out frequently and typically leaves a 25% tip, I felt compelled to leave only 15%. Hopefully, this conveyed my dissatisfaction.

I had an incredibly delicious lunch. Bri was an excellent server, and the bisque was served piping hot—perfect for a chilly day. My husband's oyster po' boy was phenomenal!

Delicious fresh seafood options. The interior of the restaurant is charming. If you are a fan of swordfish, you definitely try it here!
