I had a fantastic evening, thanks to the helpful suggestions from our hostess regarding the menu. I tried the date wrapped in bacon and coated in a sweet and sour sauce—a delightful culinary discovery that has me curious about the secret behind that sauce! The night continued with an entertaining event called Humor Bordel, which added to the overall experience.
We went in for drinks and were told a waitress would come to take our drink order. We sat waiting for 15 minutes and nobody came over it would be understandable if the bar staff were busy, but there was 1 girl pouring drinks and 2 other girls standing chatting to her rather than serving or coming to take drink orders. We left to go to another bar instead.
The staff was super friendly! The atmosphere (we sat outside) was wonderful, busy area, lots to watch and feel a part of. The food was excellent, so wonderful to find a gluten free restaurant with gluten free beer, can’t find that at home in Ontario. Was an awesome experience would go back in a heartbeat!
We came here as they have a gluten free menu and my partner is gluten free. We had the poutine which was delicious and piping hot. The drink selection was decent too. I had a beer and a few Ceasars too. The vibe was fun but relaxed. Great spot especially if gluten free!
