Pucca Restaurant Gin Bar

Very nice location and the overall ambience is good. It really felt like a great place to have a unique gin or some unusual good wine bottle. Staff was pretty friendly and most of them are French — which means courteous and efficient even though a few crew members joined recently and were still getting their bearings. I was less convinced by the food though. Don’t get me wrong: it’s really fairly tasty Indian fare with a bit of a twist (and consistently too much salt). I am just not certain that a lot of it is prepared on order as there seemed to be a fair amount of micro-waving going on.

My husband and I came in for our anniversary dinner Thursday evening. We odered the entre potato dish with some funky off smelling almost dressing sauce to match with it? We both were extremely sick the next day both been up vomiting and diarrhoea all night. After having a faeces tested GP has confirmed food was contaminated with bacteria due to aka blastocystis parasite. Either there's been a cross contamination, dairy or food left out or re used. Fantastic, creative, and really different food! We came here spontaneously and were so happy we did. Have had quite some Indian food before, but this is special! Definitely also try the Paratha bread on the side it is so delicious! Can recommend the place 100%. Service was also nice, fast and relaxed. Pucca is one of the few Indian style restaurants I’ve been to that makes the food from fresh ingredients from the ground up rather than through microwaved meat in a preprepared masala. The range of gins and quality wines compliment the food well and the service is great Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

we try to eat here every time we visit noosa. the food is delicious and beautifully presented, and the portion sizes are generous (they do not go to home feel hungry! . and the staff is really efficient and friendly. service: dine in meal type: dinner price per person: $80–100

Delicious, it's so nice to have a more modern Indian meal. Nice cookery and beautiful southern Indian flavours.
