Punch Pizza Grand Avenue

We arrived to order take out and discovered there was a 35 minute wait. We were ok with this, and waited patiently for our order. I could see the kitchen was slammed and they were doing a great job of turning out multiple large orders. The dining room was packed too. The staff checked in with us a few minutes before our order was due to be up and apologized for the wait. It was ok. I let them know, as it was still well within the time they told us to expect. When they called us for the order, the manager apologized for the wait, gave us an extra pizza, and a coupon to apologize for the wait. I am floored with the excellent service. 0 stars if I could- yet again singled out of the line and told to leave because they have a 1hr wait even when tables were available. Racist establishment !! 5 stars for the pizza! -3 stars for telling us there is a 1hr wait even when the place had like 3 tables filled. I stood there and ordered online and got the pizza in 10 minutes. So I’m not sure what that 1hr wait was about. Like do you turn back customers that are physically there? What kind of business model is that? And the pizza we got had a burnt crust and nobody looked sorry about it when we complained.

If you're willing to wait 50 minutes when you're told 35, ya get a bit Hangry! The salad came in 35, but Everyone that arrived after us received their pizza, not until I went and asked about our order did we get it 5 to 10 minutes later. We love the food but not an extended wait.

Really great spot. Perfect pizza. Great staff. Nice patio spot. Salads are also amazing. Hyper consistent and always friendly staff.
