Pupuseria La Familiar

If you know anything about pupusas you know they?re typically made with mozzarella cheese. It was clear this restaurant uses what we call ?queso seco? which is a dried out very salty and almost bitter cheese in their pupusas. We immediately noticed after the first bite because the smell and taste threw us off. Probably the worst tasting pupusas we?ve ever had. Food trucks around the block have better ratings in my opinion. Never again

Random was in the area and had her pupusas and it was fresh, hot, cheesy and delicious. What I wanted. Not sure about the rest of their menu, but their pupusas are on point. This is a place where many locals go and their staff speak all Spanish. Come on!

Wow. I didn?t get the pupusas, but the taquitos, and vegetable chicken sandwich were absolutely stunning. I adored the sandwich, the red sauce was magic.
