Well worth the drive into the countryside. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff and very tasteful decor. All a wonderful setting for the most interesting and varied menu ,all dishes made with great ingredients and great skill, delivering satisfying and unique flavourful food. Shared starters, main courses to suit everyone with seasonal vegetables, meats cooked to perfection and intense flavours, with a lovely selection of tasty desserts to finish up… And your canine fur babies are also catered for with their own bowl of water at their table!!!
The food at this restaurant is amazing, the waitresses are lovely, and they have a great selection of wine. It's a fantastic place to have lunch. We sat near the fire in the conservatory with a beautiful view of the garden. The menu is unique and incredibly tasty, so be prepared to have a tough time deciding what to order. I didn't want to share my food, but I also wanted to try everything. The flamingo pea hummus was a new and delicious experience, followed by a tasty beef dish and a scrumptious treacle tart. It was all so delicious, thank you!
My husband and I, both being vegan, can confidently say that we had the best vegan lunch of our lives at this restaurant. It was truly outstanding. We often dine at restaurants that exclusively serve vegan food, both in the UK and abroad, and we can say without a doubt that this meal surpassed some of those specialized vegan establishments. Kudos to the chef. We have made the decision to make this restaurant a quarterly tradition for us.
I went to the restaurant (conservatory) with my wife on a weekend without the kids. The cocktails (for me) and mocktails (for her) were incredible. The food was delicious, every course was fantastic, and the service was excellent. What stood out about this place was that the food was top-notch without being overly formal or pretentious. I will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely venue, great people, warm and friendly atmosphere, and delicious food! I had initially planned to have a quick light lunch, but on seeing the menu couldn't resist going for 3 courses which included lamb cooked to perfection and a sticky treacle tart.....absolutely don't regret my decision!! Highly encourage others to visit this little gem in the countryside.
This was a Golden Wedding party for 11 adults, 4 children and a baby. Laura and her team looked after us amazingly and were so attentive and helpful. One of the party being gluten free and vegetarian was so impressed that she was able to eat a full (gf and vegetarian) meal without being made to feel like a second class diner with soup. All in all a great success.
Situated next to a wonderful garden, this restaurant serve delicious food using some herbs and vegetables from its own garden. We had the trout that was accompanied by pumpkin and lentils. The tonic drink with herbs was also very nice.
Sunday lunch as a group of 8 to celebrate a friend's significant birthday. Lovely location. Food superb. Service excellent, all members of staff friendly professional. A very relaxed and relaxing atmosphere. Very highly recommended!
