The food at this restaurant is always excellent in my opinion! However, some of the servers and cashiers could use better social skills. If you're not happy with your job, perhaps you should consider finding another one. The parking situation was fine, although I did have to walk a bit to reach the entrance. The only issue I had was that when using the side entrance, it was necessary to go through two doors to reach the ordering area, which seemed a bit strange since you were already inside the restaurant. Yesterday we ordered Chipotle and today we tried Qdoba. We liked everything from Qdoba better, except for the chips from Chipotle which we thought were thinner and had a stronger corn flavor. However, overall Qdoba wins! The fajita vegetables had a beautiful smoky and roasted flavor, the quesadilla was grilled to perfection, and the salsa was flavorful. The guacamole could use some hot sauce to liven it up, but overall we give it two thumbs up.
I would give this restaurant 5 stars, but unfortunately, the 3-cheese queso chips were not up to par today. This dish is usually my favorite and I prefer it over most, but on this visit, it was barely warm, grainy, and lacked flavor. It was also much thicker than usual. Perhaps it was just a one-time issue? I will still continue to dine here, but I hope I don't encounter another subpar batch of queso.
I decided to try something new since I had a $5 coupon. I opted for takeout but was left feeling disappointed. The food was cold, unappetizing, and lacked flavor. The salsa chips were carelessly thrown into the bag without properly closing it, and the queso was chunky and unpleasant. Overall, the food did not taste fresh or flavorful as I had hoped. The staff at this restaurant is friendly and the location is clean. I ordered a custom bowl with rice, steak, and other toppings. The ingredients were fresh and delicious, and the portions were decent. I hope they open more locations in the DMV area, as I prefer them over their competitors.
