Wir waren zu Zehnt und hatte einen Tisch im Biergarten reseriviert sehr schönes Ambiente . Der Service war anfangs gut. Die Apéritivs mit bzw. ohne Alkohol bestellt waren fade, lieblos und relativ geschmacksneutral. Das mehrfach bestellte Sommermenü qualitativ und geschmacklich sehr gut, Dessert Schwarzwälder Kirsch im Marmaladenglas zu groß, zu fett, zu üppig. Rinderfilets à la carte waren au point, insgesamt verdienen alle Speisen eine gute Bewertung. Nachdem wir auch auf Grund der Hitze viel Wasser und sehr wenig Wein bestellt haben, wurde dies gefühlt mit einer hochgezogenen Augenbraue seitens des Service Personals quittiert. Hier versteht man sein Handwerk. Tolle Küche und freundlicher Service. Der Ausblick über Saarbrücken von dort ist auch sehr schön. Update von 07/2022 nach Renovierung: Die Umgestaltung des Hauses ist mehr als gelungen. Sehr modern und ansprechend. Update vom 08/2021 nach Brand: Auch die Kracherl Hütte auf dem Hof der Villa Weissmüller als Übergangslösung während der Renovierung ist absolut einen Besuch wert. Sehr gemütliches Ambiente und wie immer hervorragend gegessen.
