Qualicum Beach Bakery

We used to drive up from Victoria a couple times a year just to grab a couple meat pies and pastery desserts to relax either there or at the beach or bring to AirBnb's in the area. Not only are the staff always welcoming and amazing. It's the atmosphere of small town, recognizable faces and a peaceful air. The baked goods are always fresh and always tasty. One of our favorites in the entire Qualicum area.

This place was amazing. The steak and mushroom pie was the best. The coffee was delicious. The lemon and coconut square, the butter tart and Nanaimo bars all were worth the calories. The owner is friendly, and made us feel like we were part of the family. If only it was closer to Toronto I think it would become my second home. Thank you for all the treats.

My Mum and I were visiting from Toronto and were so happy to find this amazing gem. From the welcoming and super friendly owner (with some great stories) to the incredible meat pie and roast beef sandwich to the sweets (yes, they were all incredible), we loved it here. Thank you so much and we just wish we lived closer.

We stopped here for lunch and had breast of chicken with mojos and coffee very impressed chicken was large well seasoned and juice plus coffee great and ample and lady dropped 2 complimentary mince tarts for desert as they just came out of oven friends and proud of quality very quaint as well so nice love the place.. We special ordered a bakery item and when we got it home, we could have gotten something nicer, tastier, with a better presentation at the grocery store. We also purchased a bunch of their savory pies and they were dry and tasteless. Not the bakery I remember from years gone by.

The fritters are well-known and a loc favorite, but I try to taste something new whenever I come here. They have some delicious lunch items, haven't tried anything so far that hasn't been amazing!

Such friendly staff, such excellent bakery products, such easy parking, such great meat pies, cookies and pasteries ! Such a great place !!! Try it, you will be glad you did !

Tasty looking display case. Sesame French loaf rather flat taste but late in the day, last loaf,so I'll try again earlier. No baguette? Darn. Few inside tables. Some out. Réservez une table maintenant
