I wanted to treat my friend judy to lunch at the quartermaster. I had been for a delicious dinner and I knew it would be a treat. Im not vegetarian but the description sounded delicious mushroom and goat cheese. When it came out it was so stunningly beautiful with goat cheese on the side salad my fave ! Yummm. The veggie sandwich was a blended pattie with the most delicious spice and caramelized onions it was honestly mouth watering from the first bite. I couldn't contain my excitement and began recommending it to everyone who walked in the door. You can't go wrong here. Prepare yourself. You will be full and beyond satisfied. Just do it ! A must eats while in Revy !
In walking around Revelstoke we discovered the Quartermaster Eatery. What a wonderful discovery! As vegetarians/vegan, we had a special treat with the Sausage and Smash. It was "sausage" made from mushrooms complete with seeweed wrap for authenticity. The "sausage" was very well seasoned, and served over "smashed" potatoes and grilled vegetables. The dish was very artistically presented, and just delightful! The staff was very helpful, and met all our requests.
We have the watched the development of this restaurant with keen interest and finally got the opportunity to eat there last night. It exceeded all my expectations with great service and a superb menu. The molten chocolate cake was probably the best I have ever eaten and the salmon was pretty good too. My daughter had the chicken, which would curb any appetite and was delicious too. Great selection of local wines and innovative cocktails. A real treat.
Das war sicherlich eines der kulinarischen Highlights auf einer dreiwöchigen Tour durch British-Columbia und Alberta während derer nach manchem Restaurantbesuch nicht mehr als ein "naja" übrig blieb! Im Quatermaster's jedoch stimmte alles: Ambiente, Bedienung und natürlich die Speisen in außergewöhnlichen Zusammenstellungen und von ebensolcher Qualität! Although late, I needed to write a review for a dinner my family and I had over spring break 2017. Impeccable service and well thought out dishes served in a great location combine for an unforgettable meal. The flavors and presentation of the dishes would be in place in NY or LA. However, it was done in a way that was not pretentious and felt authentic for the region. Would absolutely go back and would like to stay in the hotel. Well done.
We did not have high expectations but this a phenomenal place! From the delicious and inventive cocktails to the amazing, locally sourced food, this restaurant will soon be the place to eat. My cucumber dour was truly delicious, the calamari a little salty, but very lightly battered and delicious . The piece de resistance was the côte de bœuf (local grass fed beef) which was sublime! My husband said it was the best steak he'd ever eaten.
We had such a delicious meal in this beautiful and modern restaurant. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food & wine is a showcase of local goods. We had tenderloin and beef ribs and we could not fault either dish - both were cooked to perfection (the beef rib was the best I've ever had, cooked for 72 hours!) A must-visit at Revelstoke!
We both had the meat board and steak frites. Local meats were delicious and steaks were cooked to perfection. Honestly one of the best steaks we had in a long time. Service was excellent and friendly. We recommend this restaurant without reserve. Réservez une table maintenant
