that was in order. I had her beef-dip sandwich and there was a terrible amount of fat, but unlike that it was great! I wish there was the possibility for fries. the chips were not gone for me. as if they came from the bottom of a bag of old boiler cooked potato chips. her childhood was great and too beautiful for my child. it was a grilled cheese, but the brot was very sharp what I think is cool, if it was an adult garlic grilled cheese. I think this place is great and I love it being in washago, but the menu could use some update imo.
We used to love this quaint little place in Washego. Still has all the grace and charm but the food is substandard now. Server was excellent and atmosphere wonderful. They have always had that PLUS great homemade style food. Very disappointing and obviously just trying...to cash in on what had a great vibe and rep. This place was always packed cuz of the food. Too bad, hope they figure out how to get the old food standards better. I wont be going back sadly. One of the few great spots in Muskoka
I have been to r Cottage multiple times and have also enjoyed their barbeque chicken take-out. Therefore, it was a natural decision to choose their catering services for a small family gathering of 12 people on the outskirts of Washago. Their website features a catering menu and we decided on the Farmer's Board charcuterie, Bison sliders, and Prime Rib sliders. The pick-up process from the restaurant was seamless and the food was beautifully presented.
The restaurant is fantastic. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. We were a large group and ordered a variety of dishes. The meatloaf was a favorite, as everyone had clean plates by the end. The chicken and dirty rice with gravy was a hit with the group. We were convinced to try the butter pie and it was totally worth it. Overall, we had a wonderful experience. I can't recommend this place enough.

absolutely beautiful. personal friendly and attentive, eat absolutely delicious. we were a big party and tried many of the dishes. the meat leaf was very well received, with a clean plate at the end. the chicken and dirt was very popular at the party, with. the gravure that sent it. convinced in buttercake it totally worth, . everything round, absolutely beautiful. can not rate high enough
A friend who lived in the opposite direction recommended this hidden gem to me, so I decided to check it out. I arrived early to avoid the midday rush and enjoyed a delicious lunch of soup, salad, and a ham sandwich. Everything was perfect, and the staff was friendly and even helped me with directions for the city buses.
We stopped for dinner and as the reviews say the food is simply amazing. Fresh and locally sourced, our dinner was fantastic. Our server Tracey was fantastic, she did a great job to ensure our dinner enjoyable. Just off the highway in the village of...Washago highly recommended if you have the time to stop.
Their lunch sandwiches are all very good, tasty and generous portion size. Their washroom is well maintained and clean. Came from a long trip but only had sandwiches available for lunch, I just wish they would have their rotisserie chicken and ribs available all day....:
