RA Sushi Bar Restaurant - Chino Hills

I gave this location basically a two-star because the food took too long to come out literally waiting 30 minutes or more on several dishes and the sushi was horrible compared to the one in Newport Beach. If you compare the two it was night and day I suggest you go to different locations and the prices they're charging for wagyu is ridiculous because I'm in the food industry and I sell it and a roll that we ordered for my friends had about a fingernails worth of walk you on top versus the photograph I saw on the menu I would consider that some form of false advertisement. we came to this place several times a month and we loved it. the Corona site has recently closed, so we're here yesterday. we sat immediately - less than 12 customers in the restaurant, but no one came to check us until at least 12 minutes later. we were looking for servers to fly down and no one came into our opposite, although a full table was next to us. (we sat high tables in the bar area.) I ordered a cocktail that the server did not put in so that it never got that. eating quickly came out, but it wasn't great. the quality was bad- fried rice had no taste. Nice and welcoming service from when we walked in until we left. We arrived early from our family group dinner, but they were very accommodating and seated us right away into the dining area with beautiful round red globe lighting, trees sculpted out of rebars, and excellent lively music to complete the atmosphere. All of us enjoyed our drinks. My skinny naked lady martini was bright, tasty, fresh, with orchid accent. Our party shared variety of sushi, nigiri, and rolls like Gojiri. Overall we enjoyed the food however, two filet mignon dishes came out cold and we had to send them back to be microwaved. Then our shrimp appetizer was forgot about and brought out super late. It was also beyond freezing inside and they waitress said they hear that a lot with the tables under the vents so it wasn’t comfortable inside the restaurant. Réservez une table maintenant

They were not busy .After being seated by the host, it took 15 minutes to get a server to come to the table, I went up to the host and asked where the server might be. Once the server came, she said this is not my table, but I’m gonna take care of you anyway and to be honest she did not a good beginning, but  otherwise OK

Our server was excellent. Manager was super nice to put on the NLDS game for us while we ate. I had never tried the seared rolls and I found them a little salty but the hand rolls were good. We loved the garlic edamame and the mango ceviche.
