Railway Hotel - Réserver une table

If you want a pub that is steeped in the Port Adelaide history then this is the place for you! When you walk into the pub it has that feeling you've travelled back in time....I absolutely love it! It's great to see there are pubs out there which have kept their charm and history.The clientele and staff are friendly/approachable and the entertainment we saw on the Friday night was really good. The meals we had were really nice and definitely not overpriced...same goes for our drinks too! It's a good honest pub that hasn't lost its soul...which unfortunately so may pubs in this day and age have! I'll be having my 40th there in a couple of weeks time and I'm really looking forward to it. Keep up the good work :-)

This was our second visit to the re-opened Railway Hotel in Port Adelaide. The first time was for an intimate dinner, this time we had a friend with us for a Saturday lunch. They had the fish and I had a steak (blue). The meals were superbly cooked and presented and our friend was most impressed with both the price and quality (he was paying). An added advantage is that there are no pokies!We will be back!

While the food is good, the owner is a grumpy old man and makes families feel very unwelcome. Not the best place for families to enjoy a meal.

Lots of history and character, and serves a nice cold beer. The menu looked good, but I didn't have the opportunity to eat there.

If you have missed eating counter lunches in the 'old' pubs, then this is the place to visit. Lots to see inside!
