Queenies - Réservation de table

As visitors to Adelaide from Melbourne we visited Queenies on Sunday 22 May, 2016. It was busy and bustling but we managed a table for our group of 6. The service was great - friendly and helpful and efficient. Orders are placed and paid for at the counter making it a simple process. Juices and coffees arrived promptly after ordering. The staff were very open to variation of menu and drink items which meant we all were able to order exactly what we wanting. The "Dukkah Mushies" dish was a favourite amongst our group....loads of garlicky mushrooms and perfectly poached eggs. We have eaten at Queenies a few times as it is local to us, however our last meal there taught me something new. As the review title suggests, bacon and eggs should always come with a side of haloumi. Thank you Queenies for opening my eyes to this. I may never find a breakfast that comes close to this one.On this occasion, Mrs B had the dukkah mushies which she said were really delicious and definitely worth coming back for. I'm not sure if the banana bread is made on the premises but Junior gave it the thumbs up anyway.The other thing about Queenies is that you will always find a great bottle of wine to complement your meal. I have driven past this place so many times (have visited it before in past incarnations) but the other day decided to try it out for brunch. I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and lovely.. homemade hollandaise ! juice squeezed minutes earlier... fresh eggs.. good coffee. I found it a little dark on this rainy day (couldn't read the paper or menu) but wouldn't like to see the ambience destroyed too much... perhaps dimmable lights which could be lifted a little on the dark days. The cakes in the cabinets looked great.. we will return

Took my hubby to Queenies for a spur of the moment brunch on our way home from the airport on a Sunday morning. The menu had a good number of options for breakfast and plenty of healthy ones too! We had the mushie breakfast and the salmon and eggs on sourdough rye. Everything was cooked to perfection and the servings were generous! I love that they offer sparkling wine piccolos - allowed me to have a champagne breakfast! The service was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be back! Thank you Queenies! Staff were really accommodating. Gave us a private space. Food was fantastic with great coffee. No hassles at all and we chatted for a couple of hours. Kid friendly with activities, high chairs. Manager was very helpful. Atmosphere was great.

Interesting food of a more tapas style, ideal for a Summer's evening and sitting outside the ocean can be viewed. Rustic style and pleasant service even with a busy night and one chef short, All dishes were good. Salad fresh.

Cute little cafe, offers some seating but better get there quick in busy times or you will be waiting a while. Great coffee, decent food but their menu could offer more. Bit more expensive than the regular but still worth it

Type of place we go to on the spur of the moment. Always have specials aside from the normal menu. We like to get few dishes and share. Nice casual dining place, friendly staff. Have some nice wines by the glass. Réservez une table maintenant

A favorite of locals, but have not eaten there until this weekend. On both occasions the food and coffee were faultless. Service fast and appropriately friendly. Lots of Vegetarian options too.

I had the queenies breakfast and it was probably the best I have had!! I love this place and couldn't recommend it more. The staff are friendly and the location is great.
