First Friday in the new year and covid locks down so many venues. Was booked for lunch while on holidays but so much closed suddenly. Mate booked this pub as last minute. Was fabulous. Beer to start. Oysters and sausage rolls to start. This was...a great info to the pub. The manager and one other staff member was on this day. They were amazing. So **** with covid and no staff. They handled all will amazing skill and amazing humour. Burgers to follow and they were great. Thank you pub. Not often I go out of the richmond bubble but was sooooo worth it

The legends at this terrific chilled-out, clean, charismatic establishment are really friendly serve marvellous food- some of the best burgers steaks in town! With a welcoming environment staff as well as managers who clearly care very much about their work, I’d be...more than happy to recommend this establishment to anyone who was after a drink, a meal or a catch-up with friends. Top marks for a top venue! Definitely try it out. Five out of five thumbs up from both myself my partner.

Our family came from various Melbourne suburbs to meet at the Railway hotel to celebrate some milestones. The pub food is classic, tasty and value for money, plus there are some great menu surprises if you want to go outside the standards. Service is always...friendly and helpful. We'll be back.

Old style pub with great vibe, bar, location and service. Parking on Sunday easy and a 5 min walk to Sth Melbourne markets to walk off some of the hug serves of great food. .
