The food is fantastic! But it 's overshadowed by the terrible service. I feel sorry for Raimo 's because whoever decided to have their one and only server a gentleman who acts like he 's doing YOU a favor by being there, was a big mistake. My family went for chicken night (Tuesdays) which entitles customers to salad, pasta, chicken dish, dessert and coffee for $21.95. Directly, we informed the waiter, We 're here for chicken. He proceeded to ignore this and recited all the specials barely making eye contact or acknowledging the fact that we knew exactly what we wanted. We shared a bottle of white wine for just $24, which was a nice touch. On pasta nights, the meal includes a salad, your choice of pasta, and dessert. However, one thing that bothered us was an additional charge on the bill that seemed to be a credit card fee. We usually pay in cash when eating out, and although I went ahead and paid it, I don't think it's fair for restaurants to impose such charges. I hope the owner sees this review and considers how these fees are presented on the bill. Despite that, we definitely plan to return!
I recently ordered a pizza for delivery and requested it to be lightly baked. I was charged a $5 delivery fee for just one mile. The delivery driver mentioned that he doesn’t receive any of that fee, so he expected a $3 tip from me. Ultimately, I ended up paying $8 for the delivery of a $20 pizza that had burnt edges. This means my delivery fee accounted for 45% of my total bill. I’m not even sure if there was an additional charge for using my credit card. I won't be using this service again.
I had a disappointing experience with my recent delivery. It took nearly two hours to arrive for a meal intended for two people. While the food itself was decent, I wouldn't recommend this place if you're really hungry or unable to pick up your order yourself. The customer service was the worst part; the staff were rude and falsely claimed that my delivery was on the way. By the time it arrived, the food was cold. I won't be ordering from here again. The service was very bland no sense of welcoming as my family and I ordered or paid. Instantly got sick off the specialty pizza the next day. My girlfriend and I woke up in the middle of the night after eating the specialty pizzas to throw up the pizza that we ate and cannot even retain the water we drink to stay hydrated. Definitely do not recommend to anyone just based on the quality of food and service.
Without a doubt, this is the worst pizza slice on the island. It has gone downhill recently; the cheese is always cold and never fully melted. The prices vary depending on whether you pay cash or credit, and they are inconsistent overall. You'd be better off going to Elios.
