I want to spend my money here and eat multiple times a week, but the cashiers are always unpleasant. They seem frustrated when I ask them to butter both sides of my toast, and no matter how many times I request crispy fries, they end up soggy every time. This keeps happening repeatedly. I’m going to have to find another place to eat because I’m not paying $12 for mushy, soggy, salty fries. To give you an idea, I’ve visited almost 400 times over six years. I stopped using my caniac card around 200 visits before the pandemic because after two visits, they stopped giving me any rewards. Additionally, the manager has been rude and displayed racist behavior.
Always check your drive thru orders at the window. The Aliso Viejo location will short you on a-la-cart finger orders. I ordered 12 only to find out at home they gave me 10. And what fingers you do get are noticeably smaller than in years priorI called the restaurant to get a refund for the two missing items. The manager said they can't do that and I have to drive all the way back to the restaurant. I'm sure Caines know most customers won't do this and they pocket the difference. Very poor service.
I recently encountered a problem where one of my combo meals, the most expensive one, was missing from my order. I called the restaurant and was informed that I would receive a refund. However, when I checked back a week later, I still hadn't received it. I even tried to contact them through their website. I'm not sure if they are being dishonest or just disorganized, but I won't be returning to this location.
I ordered the sandwich combo expecting it to include lettuce and other toppings as shown in the pictures. Instead, my sandwich was mostly just chicken tenders with little else. When I asked for extra sauce, I was told it would cost extra. On top of that, there were no free refills on the lemonade. Overall, my experience was quite disappointing.

I absolutely love Cane's! The chicken is deep-fried, incredibly tender, and served hot—not just warm from being kept under a heat lamp. You can tell it's freshly cooked right out of the fryer. The portion sizes are quite generous as well, allowing you to choose from 2, 3, or 4 chicken fingers, along with fries and Texas toast.
I haven't eaten at Cane's in the past 2 or 3 years, and I was surprised to find that the portion sizes have gotten quite small. However, the food still tastes great.
It's Cane's. It meets your expectations perfectly. My son really enjoys it, and the Cane's sauce is delicious.
They raised their prices again, will start going there less often...
