The Raj has been pretty good with previous orders, but after this last experience we won’t be risking it again! We ordered at 6:28 and were given a delivery time just over an hour away which we were happy with. Once it was an hour late we called and were told the food was ready and waiting for the delivery driver. Then after another hour we tried calling again numerous times with no answer. By that point we wanted to cancel and have a refund but no one would answer the phone to allow us to do this. The food finally turned up at 10:47 when we would normally be going to bed! We ended up putting it in the fridge and warming it up the next day as it was far too late to eat, and I imagine it was...
we have visited here many paintings in the course of the years and that was always our way to indian in barton. but we visited tonight and the service was terrible, I felt really sorry for the young young serve, he tried his best, but the number of pull-out dishes pampered the experience for those of us eating in the restaurant. there were a series of other diners who were unhappy, and I doubt that many of them will return. it seems to be another place that has become used to doing the takeaway delivery service during the COVID night space, but now they are fully open for eating in the customers are not served to do both. it's a real shame, but I doubt we'll be back soon. eating is always ni...
a warm welcome welcomed the 4 of us, we were sitting and showing our drinks orders. we ordered our appetizers and main courses, which was delicious and hot, probably the most beautiful windshield wipes I had ever had, a very chilled atmosphere, there was no hurry and the waiters were very polite, attentive and too time apologetic for a late drink order (it was not late) also big coffee and a free whisky for the cold walk. a very pleasant evening
the raj treat them like a royal! super nice eating great selection of food and drinks, really good service and very fair trips. the toilet facilities are also super, very clean and well cleaned / well maintained. we have ordered (as a tear-out) from here before, tonight was the first night in which we were drawn. we will eat 100% again!
