I have visited this restaurant multiple times over the years and have never been disappointed. I'm not sure why I haven't written a review before! The staff is friendly, attentive, and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The food is exceptional and the waiter Naz is fantastic at making sure every detail is just right. He even remembered my preferences and adjusted a dish to suit my needs. I have never experienced such personalized service anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff, especially Naz.
Whilst we arrived later than expected, the waiter was kind enough to let us eat in, as we really didn’t want a takeaway and had travelled quite far to get to the restaurant. Once seated, the service was prompt and friendly. The special mixed grill was absolutely outstanding, with high quality ingredients. The waiter was quick when we needed him but didn’t hassle us. The food is some of the best Indian food you can find in Hertfordshire.
We enjoyed our evening at the Raja. The food was excellent particularly the Persian style biriyani. Service in a very busy restaurant is excellent. One small criticism is I prefer a blush rose wine. The dark rose wine they serve is sweet. I think they'd sell loads of the more popular light blush if they sold it which is an ideal wine for Asian food. Everything you eat is of a very good quality.
I dined at this restaurant with a friend and had a delightful experience. The meal was delicious, served with care and a friendly attitude. I particularly enjoyed the paneer starter and the bindi with garlic naan. The parking was easy to find right outside the restaurant. I will definitely be returning in the future. Stopped here on a cold midweek, where everything else had packed up early. And was really please. The best Nan bread ever had. Hope to visit again next time in area. Parking: On street parking, plenty of space in the evening. Got parked right outside restaurant Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Take away order took 45min. The order was wrong, I ordered a chicken korma which turned out to be prawn korma.The nan bread had a lump torn off it the whole order was quite cold. Disappointing Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £30–40 Food: 3 Service: 2
