I had a great experience at this restaurant. I really enjoyed my Black Garlic Ramen and seaweed salad. We also ordered the Chicken Rice to share with the family, which was delicious. The kids loved it! However, the chicken Karaage was extremely dry and overcooked, making it difficult to eat. They also forgot to add dipping sauce. Thankfully, my dogs enjoyed the chicken as treats. Despite the slow service, the staff was friendly and the restaurant was clean, which made up for the delay.
I have experienced stomach issues on two separate occasions after ordering the seafood options with shoyu broth at this restaurant. The first time was from a delivery order, which resulted in full-blown food poisoning. The second time was from eating in-store yesterday, which caused stomach discomfort and gas. I have ordered the same dish before without any problems, but it seems that the seafood may be precooked and not properly reheated.
I was just driving by because I have been craving Ramen and I found this place on a limb and let me tell you! I found a gold mine! The lady who assisted me was Gabby and she worked so hard! I truly admire the service here and the commitment to uphold a high standard. This place comes highly recommended.
3 yrs later and a recent new ownership change... Ramen still tasted good but other items on the menu did not taste like they did with previous owner. Rice was dry, chicken overcooked and portions seemed smaller. Maybe they are still figuring out things with ownership change but I wasn't impressed. Réservez une table maintenant
I had the worst Ramen ever at Castro Valley Ramen 101. The meat was overcooked and sliced too thinly, and there was no egg. I would highly recommend Ramen 101 in San Leandro or Dublin instead.
Horrible! We had to cancel our order due to an emergency. They said they will process the refund and that was a month ago. Still have not received our refund!
The food is simply amazing. The flavors are an explosion in your mouth. I. will definitely be eating there again!
We just got our ramens, one of them had a FLY in it, we couldn’t finish the food after that Réservez une table maintenant
