Ranchito Café left much to be desired during our recent visit. The ambiance was inviting, but unfortunately, the food did not match the setting. We ordered three plates of carne asada, which cost $70. For that price, we expected a flavorful and satisfying meal. Instead, the dishes were remarkably bland, lacking any distinct flavors. The food was so tasteless that we had to rely heavily on salt and pepper to make it palatable. While the service was decent, the lack of seasoning in the food overshadowed our experience. Despite there being just one waitress for the entire restaurant, she remained attentive and friendly, and the food was outstanding! I ordered the smothered nachos but opted for their homemade tortilla chips instead of the standard ones, and they were fantastic. While they don’t offer free chips and salsa, I can understand the small charge given how unique their homemade chips and bean dip are. I’ve never tasted chips like those anywhere else. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

Lady didn't write any orders down just said she could handle remembering. 2 of the 6 meals were made incorrectly and had to be remade then one still wasn't correct. Lady didn't ask us about refills either. Not worth the price when your food isn't correct.

The food here is excellent! I had the homemade tamales, which were packed with meat. My dad really enjoyed his smothered taco as well. There's plenty to eat, so make sure to come when you're hungry! Réservez une table maintenant

We got here a little after lunch so it was pretty quiet. Nice clean restaurant with excellent service. Authentic Mexican food so not that Chi-Chi's greasy platters. A nice menu.

This is a fantastic spot for Latinos, particularly Mexicans who are longing for a taste of home with authentic Mexican food and a welcoming atmosphere.

Drove out from thermopolis for a late lunch. Restaurant had great atmosphere, friendly staff and amazing food. More than worth the drive.
