The “Rasthaus am Mittag” naturally promises some hearty lunches and some hearty way-cave – but it is simply on the so-called Mittagberg, high above Immenstadt, in the middle of the Allgäuer Nagelfluhkette. Actually, on the middle station of the chairlift, which is already at 1100 meters high. Here you can either walk up on foot from Immenstadt in about an hour or walk up comfortably with the chairlift for foot-sicks and seniors and children.
