"Attention: In Alger's farmhouse, a time of fasting or base fasting can also be used for a gentle diet with only basic foods – that is not what Eager Gourmand would understand as a living return. For those who do not like it: the farmhouse Alger mainly processes natural, high-quality foods and also offers corresponding lectures and cooking classes. In addition, the Alger, which is actually an ensemble of traditional Alpine-style houses, is very picturesque in the Alpsee in the Immenstadter Ortsteil Bühl. In a few steps you can visit the lake – and yet the Landhaus Alger offers many parking spaces for guests. The buildings fit very harmoniously and inconspicuously to the square. So harmonious that we had to drive around the Karree several times during our first visit until we found access. The park-like environment invites you to rest and rest – here you can do something after eating in a deck chair or turn around the garden. The houses are partly green with hilly plants, the garden flourishes lush. A true Eldorado for all friends of nature. This summer I was in the Alger several times, once in mid-July and once beginning/mid-August. The reception was always very friendly and very courteous. They almost feel like relatives or good friends. The kitchen uses natural, regional and seasonal products and offers vegetables, salad plates and soups in all appearances. In the service area I have experienced an outstanding kindness and cordiality as rare. The two young ladies are striving to make the guests beautiful and pleasant and to fulfill all their wishes. If you want to book a morning breakfast, you should register from the day before so you can buy and plan accordingly, no, there is nothing in the hectic... . I used this offer twice at 12.50 euros. The two rooms in the local farmhouse are very individually furnished, with a mixture of very different tables, seating, dishes, vases and floral arrangements, pictures and finds. With little space you can sit on the table with strangers, very close and family. For each guest, a floor is composed with colorful delicacies: various vegetarian bread spreads I had with horse and red bete taste, hearty all-gäu cheese in any consistency and embossing, small tomatoes, radishes, fresh cucumber and carrot pencils, melon slices, marillas, pears, grapes. ... For this purpose butter, fresh cheese and a basket with different rolls and Lye pastries. Muesli, milk, yogurt, juices and coffee are picked up from the buffet, partly on a windowboard, partly on a tile stove. Special requests such as egg dishes can be processed and ordered directly with the service. All products used convince with taste, quality and freshness. If you do not want to gout the biodynamic variant, you can also choose a rather hearty breakfast. For example, the excellent liver sausage was praised on the side table. In any case, you should ensure that you do not get too little cheese – this is excellent, very decent and usually of high fat content. If you hit the strands, you can return to the base fast in a few months. The farmhouse Alger also has some self-catering apartments, which are naturally very lovingly equipped with natural materials and with lots of wood. You can also book wellness days with half board light full value food and various treatments. Cosmetic treatments with Dr. Hauschka products are also offered here. In principle, one should adjust to a slower rhythm before entering the house. But that's for everyone. In return you will find an excellent, warm service and high-quality, natural food as well as a cosy ambience as with good friends."
