They say you learn a lot from first impressions . Well, if that is true, then I learned all I need to know about Ray Ray 's diner this evening. I needed some place to have dinner with 2 of my sisters form out of town. Although I had never been there, I suggested Ray Ray 's.What started as a venture into the unknown quickly became dinner at your best friend 's house !! The staff was extremely pleasant !! They greeted us like they have waited all day for us to get there. They were prompt, attentive, and, best of all, FRIENDLY!!The food was just as welcoming. The 3 of us each got something different and we couldn 't have been more pleased with our orders. Everything was fresh and made to order...
We don't hate the restaurant. They were closed until further notice due to a family emergency. Which we didn't know. What I hated was the fact we drove about an hour to get there. I went to their website before leaving home and there wasn't any mention of them being closed for any reason. I'm sorry for their emergency, but they should have mentioned it on their website. Next time, if there is a next time, I'll be sure to call in advance before driving a hour to go somewhere to eat.
This restaurant was the perfect choice for my husband and me on our spontaneous date night. We even drove an hour to give it a try! The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was really nice, especially with the Valentine's decorations up for February. We visited during a quieter time, and it felt like every employee made an effort to connect with us, making us feel like family. And of course, the food was delicious!
Met Mendie and Linda today. The atmosphere of the diner is nothing like we expected. Such a beautiful and cozy place. The food was amazing and the staff is excellent. Have it on our to go list whenever passing through again.

Had the deep fried cheese burger and it was delicious, services was even better and the owner was super cool
