After going g to most of the restaurants above the fountains we decided to have a meal at Raymond’s. It was ok. Sadly I had the fillet steak with bernaise sauce and the sauce was the worst concoction I have ever tasted in my life. I wrongly assumed it would be in a jug or separate dish which would have been ok as I would just have left it but it was smothered over the steak and I don’t know what they did to it but it bore no resemblance to Bernaise. Anyway the waiter asked if it was I, and I said no but the steak was cooked as I had asked (medium) he took the plate immediately and I assume washed the sauce off then put it on the grill as it came back very well done.
