I guess it's my issue. The restaurant was noisy and had strange lighting, plus it was cold with the door open. If I hadn't made a reservation, I would have left. And don't even get me started on the food. I ordered a pasta dish with salmon and peas, but I could barely taste the salmon - it was hard to find. The price did not match the quality of the food, so I won't be returning. Next time, I'll choose a different place to eat.
We were starving when we arrived at this restaurant and were pleased with the menu options. Initially, we were a bit worried as we were the only customers there during lunchtime. However, we were impressed with the diverse menu offerings and everyone in our group thoroughly enjoyed their meals. A special shoutout to the staff for the delicious peppercorn sauce.
Delicious food; delightful staff; an incredible meeting and good long chat about history, whiskey, stags, castles, cars, Scottish independence and a bit of Paul Young thrown in for good measure. Thank you for taking such good care of us we will be back!
I highly recommend this restaurant. The location is great and the staff is attentive. There are plenty of gluten-free options, which was perfect for me. This was our first visit, but we will definitely be returning. Réservez une table maintenant

"Liver and onions was creamy and tasty. This is a quiet small hotel restaurant and a very nice menu. The sticky toffee pudding was unfortunately store bought and just average but enjoy the main course."
